About Brooks Educational Aids, Inc.

Brooks Educational Aids, Inc was started by Jason and Misti Brooks.  Jason Brooks was a 3rd grade teacher in Lancaster ISD.  With a high at risk student population and a desire to help his students, he started using graphics and animation to illustrate some difficult math concepts and strategies in class.

Mr. Brooks' students began to request for more and more "math on the TV."  With a student response so positive; Jason's math curriculum director encouraging him to take this idea to the next level; and consulting with his wife, an education major as well- VITA was born.

Jason and Misti Brooks moved to San Antonio, TX to be close to family and friends that were in education to help with the creation of their software.  In just a couple of years VITA is being used through out districts in Texas.  With the recent changes in assessment, the team at BEA has been working hard to make sure VITA is covering the areas were there is need.
